FREE COMIC BOOK DAY IS ALMOST HERE!!!!
As you might know, this Saturday, May 7th, like every first Saturday of May every year, is Free Comic Book Day. Let your friends, neighbors, family, and the random passers-by know about Free Comic Book Day. Send them, bring them, carry them, or drag them, along with yourself, to a participating comic book store to get some free stuff. If you need help finding one, I will let you in on a little secret… Lost Legion Games & Comics, at all three locations, are full participants in Free Comic Book Day and have loads of free comics to give out, and if that doesn’t work for you, there are other stores all over the country participating and you can find them by going to FreeComicBookDay.com.

Fifth, WEAR A COSTUME and take part in our costume contest. The costumes have to be connected to some comic book or game we carry. Judging will be done after Free Comic Book Day by all Lost Legion staff and we will take into consideration costume detail, acting, posing, and maniacal-monologueing, but mostly we will be picking the ones that look the awesomest. The categories and prizes are:
Best Girl’s Super Hero Costume at each location wins a free action figure (ages 13 and under)
Best Boys Super Hero Costume at each location wins a free action figure (ages 13 and under)
Best Dynamic Duo or Team at each location wins a $30 Lost Legion gift card (this is for all ages)
Best Game Costume at each location wins a free dice set (this is for all ages)
Best Overall winner from the winners of all three locations will win a $50 Lost Legion gift card

We do have some limitations and rules during Free Comic Book Day if you attend. You have to keep all conversations at G-rating. A limit of 3 Free Comic Book Day comics per person may be imposed depending on supplies and the size of the crowd. There is no purchase necessary to come enjoy Free Comic Book Day and get your free comics! Have fun and enjoy your comics.

Be sure to listen to Rick’s and Lola’s The Early Show on 103CIR Friday morning in Beckley. I will be mentioning some special deals on their show when I am on that are exclusive to their show and their listeners.
